25 INDISPENSABLE QUALITIES OF A
CREDIBLE AND COMPETENT MINISTER
Sincere, well-meaning and concerned Christians and leaders know that all is not well with the church of Christ in the world today. The Church is not what God expects her to be. Yes, there had been tremendous numerical growth and expansion in a way never seen before in the last couple of years. Fine, wonderful and architectural masterpiece of cathedrals have been erected as places of worship like never before. There is high visibility of preachers,
pastors, bishops and church leaders in both the print and electronic media like never before. Churches are springing up like never before. Large gatherings of Christians for worship, prayer and teaching meetings are multiplying like never before. Bible colleges and seminaries are churning out students like never before. Films that depict the cross and salvation of Christ such as ‘Passion of the Christ’, are coming out like never before and people are watching. There is high awareness of the gospel and the substitutory work of Christ is no longer hidden to majority of people in cities and even in rural areas, because satellite broadcast of Christian programmes and the internet has made all these possible. However, inspite of these giant strides, yet, there is dearth of genuine, profound and truly transformed Christians today.
